Thanksgiving in Dublin

Since Thanksgiving is not an Irish holiday, us Americans searched for ways to still celebrate. Thankfully, the end of group presentations occurred on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and the end of classes was that Friday. So while we didn't have a Thanksgiving dinner on actual Thanksgiving, we made up for it with a "Black Friday" cocktail party (first picture of girls below) on Friday, followed by a Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday at Jill's place (the remaining pictures). I must say, Thanksgiving dinner was WONDERFUL. A BIG thank you goes out to Jill & Mike for hosting such a large group! Nothing like yummmy comfort food, good friends, and much to be thankful for! With the end of this past week, there are 10 days before the start of exams. That time is thankfully for us students to review (or rather, finally get the chance to hopefully internalize all that was dumped on us over the past several weeks) without any projects or assignments to worry about. Soooo, in honor of that study time, this is me procrastinating by updating my blog! Hope you have enjoyed the updates, as who knows how long it will be before my next blog....
